Day 2 of the Ride: Deer River to Nashwauk:46 Miles

Deer River to Nashwauk: 46 Miles:   Wake up whistle blows at 5:30... Deer River High School is 44 degrees and foggy.  Take down wet tents pack duffle bag and load in truck.  Breakfast hosted by Deer River Varsity Girls volleyball team.  Day's ride proves to have exceptional weather maxing at 74 degrees.  The days milage will be the least of the weeks ride, but proves challenging with the introduction of some headwinds and the "killer hill".  One coffee/cookie break midmorning and lunch at a town hall along highway 26, or 6 or 72 or some digit.  We arrive in Nashwauk around 2:30 and setup camp, shower and chill before dinner and NBA playoff game at Max's a restaurant/bar in Nashwauk.  I'm writing the blog there in a corner booth, and see a full dance floor of bikers dancing to "ol time rock and roll".
